Part 2 ~ Melacca trip

Long Awaited Post ~ Part 2

Hahaha...To begin with, I would like to show you the famous cakes from Nadeje Cafe, Dataran Pahlawan, Melaka as I promised in Part 1.Hehehe!!!...this is the 'Classic Cheese Cake'.
I really glad to travel to Melacca that time with them..I have no word to describe the trip. It was memorable and meaningful to me. I hope it was the same for each of them. Every second that I spent with them was truly a joy for me. Thank you^_^

Nadeje is a spanish cake shop that only available in Melacca. All they cakes are fresh and hand-made I guessed. But fot those creamy cakes, it taste just normal for me and AH LOON!!hahaha...he ordered the classic cheese but he DON'T like it.hahaha!!!

The next food that I would like to introduce is Chicken Ball Rice. It tastes good and unique in terms of its shape. The chicken served was SOSO lo...hahaha!!!I can find a better shop that serves chicken that tastes better that this...haha...the main focus was on the [Rice Ball]

The next destination was A Famosa. It was a famous heritage in Melacca. Initially, it was a fortress build by the British. But it was destroyed and what was left was only the front door until now. We spent some time on photo-taking there. But that day was very very bright and HOT!!!...hahaha!!!

We are BE from Penang, Kedah, Melacca, Klang and Ipoh. ^.^

All my best friends xD

These are the building in Melacca near the clock tower. This is an old police station.

This shop lot are located at the famous Jonker Street, Melacca.

On the second night, we went for a boat ride as it was also one of the signature attraction there. The fee was kinda expensive for me but nevermind la...I seldom go Melacca for vacation also :) . It costs MYR 10.00 for each person. After waiting for 10 minutes, we boarded the last trip of the boat. It was truly a relaxing journey 'swimming' across the Melacca river. For me, it was a small Melacca tour instead ^_^ but I am happy with it as many gorgeous scenery was there along the journey with their lights ON. The light created a light path along the river and illuminated everything around it. I will definitely not forget about this scene.^_^

In short, I kinda like Melacca very much. It is a simple city yet full of Baba-Nyonya culture and old heritage. I do like old stuffs and treasure them too. Melacca is an old city but I like it. I am glad that I spent my holidays here despite after travelling all the way from Ipoh to here and spending my time with my besties.
Thank you so much that came all the way from your hometown and sorry for the tight and rush schedules.
I enjoyed every moment with four of you and I hope that we can go other place for vacation like this again ^.^ Thank you for checking my post. Have a nice day xD!!

Long awaited Blog and finally!!! hahaha....

18/4/2012 Rainy

Yea...!!! got alot of stories to share here today. Hehe!! It is all about my trip to KL and Melaka during my last semester break.
The purpose of going KL is to celebrate 2012 new year and meeting some of my good friends there. It was my longest trip to KL for the first time.4 days and 3 nights. I stayed at PV3 condominium in Taman Melati with Wayne, Jeng and Wen.

On the first day, I met up with Jeng and Wen at Times Square and we enjoyed shopping for new year clothing once again. Then, we went Sungei Wang Plaza for second round. Due to request from Jeng, 3 of us went for Sing K session in GreenBox , Sungei Wang Plaza until 10pm. Then, we headed home ( Setapak ). Wayne was the only one in the apartment and I am so glad to meet him at that time. We chit-chat for that night before going to bed. On the second day, we went the same place again to spot some nice clothing along with Wayne as well. We went shopping and 'Snowflake' together. It was a lovely day with 3 of them hanging around Bukit Bintang area. Hehehe....!!! So memorable and meaningful to me

On the third day which was the last day in 2011. It was a happy day for everyone as they were welcoming the 2012 year on that night. But unfortunately, Jeng and Wen were not here with me at Setapak while Wayne have some stuff to do in campus. But no one is going to ruin my plan. 2012 was coning and everyone was exciting about it.You Can Feel It! Hehehe!!..after styling hair and preparing, I headed to Pavillion, KL along with my babe Canon. It was so exciting all around the Bukit Bintang area and the atmosphere for the new year celebration was amazing and cannot be described with words. To utilize my leisure time, I did some Street Photography. This is what I called Street Photography:

It was fun to count down with some friends that are friendly and helpful. I joined Andrew in a Hug-Me event at Pavillion, KL. Everyone were enjoying, hugging and laughing at that moment. I particularly admired foreign people from oversea.

WHY?? because they were so kind and friendly all the time and willing to hug with anyone at anywhere in anytime. They felt that hugging is a gratitude, is a sign of showing friendly to others.
I hoped that Malaysians do take lessons from them. Learn to be kind and friendly, learn to be an easily approachable person like them.

Another lesson I have learnt from them was that people although came from different backgrounds and countries but they will unite and celebrate for something that meant to them even they were away from home, they still love their countries, they still loved their people and loved ones. Love is the foundation for all perhaps.

Melaka Trip with Wei Loon, Yan lin, Mei Jee, and Wei Khin

The next story I want to share is my trip to Melaka with 4 of my dearest BE coursemates. These were my lovely friends and I really really did enjoyed spending every precious moments with them in Melaka during that few SHORT days. Hmm...

The journey took about 5 hours to reach Melaka. I was travelling with Srimaju Bus and the journey was co
mfortable. But too bad, I was sick at that moment. The air-condition really kills me at that time. As soon as I alighted from the bus after reaching Melaka Sentral, I look for a 'red' bus that headed to Melaka clock tower. My Mei Mei , Abby and Wei Khin were expecting my arrival there. Once I got off the bus, I started my first picture capturing the famous memorial building left over by the British in the early of 1990's. The building was named ' Red House ' by the locals as well as tourists.

We later went to our booked hostel named ' Sayang-sayang ' which was near to the center of thetourism area and the red house. The room was double storey with beds up and down. It was
quite ok and comfortable with me so I am quite satisfied with the choice of the hostel made.

At night, we hunt for the best dripping satay in Melaka named ' Capitol Satay ' or ' Celup-celup ' in malay. The shop served tons of meats for their customers and of course their famous thick satay sauce with grinned peanut powder. The peanuts intensify the flavor of the sauce and made every stick of the satay tasted much better than others. The price was MYR 0.80 per stick.

Then, we have a photo shooting session in front of the red house. I know all of us were tired due to the journey to Melaka all the way from Penang, Kedah and Ipoh. But still, w
e did enjoyed the shooting at the moment with our besties. How nice was that!!!! I love this shot a lot. It records our memories into images and let the moment shall be kept forever.

The next day we went to seek for more attraction there and we came across the old fort built by the British long time ago. We had a short shooting session again there with the canons. Hahaha.....Later on, we went Pahlawan to taste the famous layer cakes in Melaka. The shop served excellent quality of cakes and services too. However, each pieces of cake costs MYR 9.50++ . But, the taste of cakes were fabulous and varied in terms of flavor and ingredient too.

To be continued....
